Upcoming Seminars and Next meeting

Welcome to June and post season. Paul has been at NTI and will be sharing many of his adventures in the next meeting. The next meeting is July 21 (3rd Tuesday of Odd month), sign in at 630 pm and presentation 7-8pm. Details still be finalized but there will be food. The location is going to be our new home for meetings: Breckinridge School of Nursing and Health Sciences 13500 Powers court Suite 100 Theory 1 classroom.

I also wanted to share some upcoming local education. The first is Waves of Wisdom Acute and Critical Care Symposium on July 30 & 31 in Orlando. The website is: www.wavesofwisdomaacn.org   It is a collaberative effort by chapters in FL. Maybe we can add our name in the future.

There will be an advanced EKG class on Aug 29 held at the same place as our meeting and an advanced Cardiovascular Symposium Sept 16-18 with optional test on 19 at the Sannibel Marriott. The group bringing these to the area is the american board of cardivascular medicine. Their website is: http://www.abcmcertification.com  The EKG flier is not up yet but should be coming soon.

I enabled the comments to this announcement so that individuals that are going to be going to one or more of the seminars could let others know so that they can meet up. I am going to both of the cardiovascular ones.

We are also working on the details for membership online. Hopefully it will be ready before July 1. The agreed upon dues will be $20 for the 2015-2016 year and it will be paid online. The membership will be renewed each year by July 1.
