Summer Events/Meetings

     Greetings! Hope this message finds everyone well. We made it through another 'Snowbird' season in SWFL! Yeah!! Give yourself a pat on the back. I hope you all get a well deserved break this summer. I am personally excited about attending NTI this year in New Orleans. My family is joining me again this year. I almost have the RV ready and we plan to hit the road this Saturday. It is NOT TOO LATE to go. A 12hr drive or last minute flight and hotel reservations and you can join thousands of critical care nurses for an amazing time. I am also excited that many members have stepped up to take leadership roles in our chapter and some will be taking my place at the Leadership Workshop this year. I know it will be an inspiring time for all that attend. Go to www.aacn.org for more information.

     I am also pumped up that we have sponsors for two bonus meetings this summer. Christie Medical will be sponsoring our June meeting (see event invite) and Smith and Nephew will be sponsoring our August meeting (more details to come). No regular meeting this month (May) due to NTI and July will be our regular meeting at ITT.
